Morro
Drift
When I travel back to California to visit family, one of my favorite pasttimes
is kayaking with my stepfather in the Baywood area of Los Osos and Morro Bay.
This piece was created from the memory of one clear day in the bay when I let
my kayak drift along with the bay's current and stopped paddling long enough
to watch the turtle grass sway underneath. Its flow was languid and mesmerizing.
